MARCH 14, 2025: Tomorrow is the day!!
Our group is #62 and our float will be parked on North Tryon Street between 11th and 12th streets. Please plan to be there by 10:30.
Note: if you are concerned about parking uptown you may want to get there earlier … this will also give you time to walk around and see the various floats and groups in the parade, which is fun!
The festival starts at 1:00 – they typically have vendors, food trucks and of course beer trucks! There will be Irish dancers and band music on the main stage in front of St Peter’s Catholic Church starting at 1:00. The ‘Federal Clan Kings’ will play at 2:00 and 5:00 for about 45 minutes each set. Hope to see you there!!

MARCH 11, 2025: Parade shirts are here! We will be handing them out starting at 6:00 Thursday at the Comet Grill and again on Friday evening. Please look for us on the patio. We have a few extra shirts on hand if you missed getting an order in, so let us know if you are interested.
Just a heads up that we opted out of tie dying the shirts as we discovered that doing so would take away from Joe;s artwork – we think you will agree that the design is amazing!
We have been told that we will be the last float in the parade due to our always amazing float decorum, our fabulous music, and the enthusiasm of our group —- that’s all of you!! If you are joining us at the parade, please plan to be uptown/downtown by 10:00 AM on Saturday —- we don’t yet know exactly where our meeting spot is but will post that information as soon as they let us know. We love and appreciate all of you.

It’s that time again! Please check this site for frequent updates about the parade and the entire weekend.
We are resurrecting the never used theme from 2020 – FEDERALS GO GOLD! Our float will be designed with a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it and we have many volunteers working every weekend to get it ready for the parade, and ready we will be! ☘☘☘☘☘
Pre-parade information: (1) For those of you in Charlotte who are interested in helping with float decorations and/or repairs, please keep a couple of upcoming weekends open to help out. Marty Quinn and Mike McBride (our experienced float captains!) will assess what work is needed and will determine work dates which we will post on this site under the NEWS tab – be on the lookout! (2) Get your parade gear now! Parade t-shirt orders will cut off on February 21. Orders can be made via Facebook on the Federal Clan group page, or if you do not access Facebook, email Molly at [email protected].
Weekend Events:
Friday, March 14 – Kickoff at The Comet Grill – The Lenny Federal Band will perform from 8:30-12:00. We encourage you to come for dinner beforehand to enjoy good food and to gather with family and friends.
Saturday, March 15 – Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival – If you want to march with us (and we hope you do!), please arrive at our designated spot between 9:30 and 10:00 AM – location to be announced closer to parade date. The Federal Clan Kings will perform at the festival following the parade – time to be announced closer to parade date.
Saturday, March 15 – Federal Clan After Party at Lucky Lou’s Tavern – 7:00 PM start time. Some of our favorite musicians will be performing!! Lenny, Michael, Keegan, Kat, and more…
Sunday, March 16 – Federal Clan Brunch at Lucky Lou’s Tavern – 10:00 AM start time. Please come and enjoy a wonderful brunch and wrap up the weekend with family and friends.
